Health and safety comes first.

Your child's health is our number one priority and we keep safety in mind at all times. We take great care to use the lowest amount of radiation possible to produce the best image. Our radiologists and technologists adhere to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and Image Gently standards endorsed by the Society for Pediatric Radiology by providing the most advanced diagnostic imaging services available while using the lowest possible amount of radiation.

Your child's healthcare provider may suggest that your child receive sedation medicine before an exam. If so, your child's team will include one of Baptist Health's pediatric anesthesiologists, who are specially trained and have extensive experience with young patients. Baptist Children's Diagnostic Centers also specialize in procedures that use imaging techniques to reduce the number or size of incisions needed (minimally invasive procedures).

Our team knows how important the comfort of your child is during testing and treatment. We make sure you understand the reasons for your child's testing and treatment, and try to make you and your child comfortable during all phases of your stay.
